Series of books
With the brief being called ‘Document your culture’, I decided to focus on my parents heritage, Sierra Leone and Scotland. The books are based on patterns, instruments, and iconic foods from either area.
In order to see the comparison of both, I have made them into upside down books in which when looking at the right hand page, it relates to what’s on the cover e.g. Sierra Leone. Each book is presented in different visual ways focusing on shapes and textures.
